Carbon Motors to Partner with Lotus on Cop Car
By Turbonius J. Monkey | September 24, 2007
Ever hear of Carbon Motors? Neither had I until recently, but it looks like these guys are planning to build a futuristic police cruiser… this thing looks like it’s straight out of a near future sci-fi flick. It seems that firetrucks and other emergency vehicles are purpose built to do their jobs. The vast majority of police cars on the other hand are simply toughened up slightly modified versions of their consumer counterparts. The philosophy at Carbon: custom build a car for the job of police work. Their PR copy makes sense to me, but what do I know, I’m no cop. Pictures after the jump
One thing is certain, Carbon has rendered up one hell of a sexy video of a police cruiser that sure looks ready for business. As usual enjoy the pretty pictures.![]()
