Fiesta For All
By Turbonius J. Monkey | February 17, 2008
It’s not just a car, it’s a party on wheels and it’s Ford’s newest version of the Fiesta. The Original concept was called the Verve, and early indicators suggested that Verve would be the new car’s name when it finally hit the market.
To be unveiled in Geneva in it’s production form at the 2008 motor show in March, the name for Ford’s small car will remain Fiesta. Good news for America, this model will mark the return of the Fiesta to American shores when it debuts sometime by 2010.
Nearly Identical to last year’s Verve concept, the Fiesta is a looker. Not only that but it reflects a new era in small car convenience features. Though not mentioned by name, it appears Ford SYNC will be offered for bluetooth connectivity and voice activated music playback. Ford’s Easyfuel capless fueling system as well as tilt and telescoping steering column and the ambient lighting system that is being seen in a number of Ford cars these days.
Five powerplants will be available ranging from a 68 HP diesel to a 115 HP Duratec gasoline motor. More photos below
